New Haven F-units!!!! |

I have never seen the F10 or FL9 locos pulling a train, so this was as good as it got for me! This is better than nothing of course because all F-units have been stored out of service (as of 2009)! I did make a few trips with Dad trying to catch them before they were gone and this was one of those trips! Two FL9M locomotives in old New Haven livery are at Brewster Yard near Brewster, New York, March 1, 2008. Engines #2014 and #2026 work for the Metro-North Commuter Railroad. They are waiting for the next assignment of Connecticut Department of Transportation, subsidiary to Metro-North. Other passenger equipment is seen in the background.
