Passengers rode this train for the Pigeon Farmers’ Festival, July 24, 1999. These freshly painted GP38-2 locomotives, #204 and #203, power the train. Heres engine #204 in the "Old" RailAmerica scheme from the previos year: A special Bluewater Michigan Chapter excursion train is prepared to head west at Pigeon, Michigan and will now return to Reese. Description:  This Marquette Rail freight train prepares to depart their yard in Manistee, Michigan, June 28, 2015. Locomotive #2040 is a GP38-2. It is former Union Pacific and is still in UP colors. Marquette owns trackage between Grand Rapids, Ludington, and Manistee. They purchased these tracks from CSX in 2005. This trip was for going to Ludington, MI celebrating 25 years since a great time there as kids (with mom/sisters July 1990)! Fittingly #2040 represent 25 years in the future from 2015! Title:  SOO "BANDIT!!!!"
Description:  This Soo Line train heads north in Cicero, Illinois, December 2004. Locomotive #2010 is a GP40 that is still partly in old Milwaukee Road colors. Soo Line bought The Milwaukee Road in 1985 and their logos were soon painted over. The second engine, #4422, is an old Soo Line GP38-2 now painted in Canadian Pacific Railway colors. CP purchased Soo Line in 1990. Date approx. (Canon AE-1 35mm camera, Kodak 800 Max print film)
