Title:  LSRC 1280
Description:  This southbound Bluewater Michigan Chapter excursion train heads toward Grayling, Michigan on the Lake State Railway, October 15th, 2005. Engine #1280 is a C425M-AC model. This is a short diesel powered side trip which is part of the "Timberliner" excursion using the Pere Marquette 2-8-4 #1225 steam locomotive. It ran from Kawkawlin to Grayling, MI. Locomotive #1225 is being prepared while waiting for the passenger consist for the trip back to Kawkawlin. This side trip is traveling from Grayling, running a few miles north and return. I am a Bluewater member, my fellow club member John A. is in the window! (Canon AE-1 35mm film camera, Fuji P-800 print film)

Retired engines
Title:  Retired engines
Description:  Retired Alcos (one EMD) at the Saginaw Roundhouse, Saginaw, Michigan. Engine #469 is still in its old Detroit & Mackinac Railway colors, built 9-1946. They were the 1st Railroad to fully dieselize from steam! This is one of their 1st diesels! I've never seen it run, this is the best that I've done! It's worth saving of course! Photographs taken here under strict permission guidelines from an employee who will remain unknown. This is not public property of course. (Mamiya RB67 Medium Format film camera, Fuji NPH 400 print film)
